Learning to play hockey-Oaks Center Ice, Oaks, PA

CHIP is the foundation of our youth hockey programs. Through this program your child will gain a love for the game of hockey and build lasting friendships. CHIP places an emphasis on developing the skating fundamentals required to play hockey and puck skills such as stick handling, passing, and shooting.

The CHIP program is for the beginner youth player or for the youth player who wants to improve their game through learning individual skills needed to play the game. We offer multiple 4 or 6-week session schedules that feature skills and cross-ice game sessions.  Our goal is to improve a players individual skills and game knowledge which would enable the player to continue to play in our Valley Forge Colonials travel program.
