NORTHERN COLORADO YOUTH HOCKEY Power Skating (DENVER, CO)

Birth Years 2010 & Older

Cost each session: $62 on/before May 1 and $75 on/after May 2
$102 on/before May 1 and $115 on/after May 2 for 01-06 as includes 30 min of dryland before each on ice session

Power #3 Dates: Four (4) Sundays 45 minute session on June 2, June 16, June 23, June 30 (none June 9th)
Power #4 Dates: Four (4) Sundays 45 minute session on Aug 4, Aug 11, Aug 18, Aug 25
Times:
BY 01-06 — 11:45-12:30 pm (Dryland from 11-11:30 am)
BY 07-08 — 12:45-1:30 pm
BY 09-10 — 1:30-2:15 pm

Details: Each session divided by Birth Year; Led by Certified & Professional Skating Instructor Liz Egetoe; Discover maximum power from blade usage; Create additional power from crossovers; Develop control over edges and transitions; Integrate a variety of transitions into game play; Understand sources of power using full range of motion; Maximize explosive strides through proper biomechanics; Enhance performance through resistance training

Northern Colorado Youth Hockey (NCYH) is a non-profit youth ice hockey organization that operates out of the Northern Colorado Ice Center (NoCo) in Fort Collins, CO. Edora Pool Ice Center (EPIC) in Fort Collins, CO is also utilized for both practices and games.

NCYH is a charter member of the premier competitive youth hockey league in Colorado known as the Colorado Competitive Youth Hockey League (CCYHL) which is under the Colorado Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA). NCYH is also a member of the Colorado Recreational Hockey League (CRHL) for all rec/house teams.
