JUNIOR/COLLEGE/SHOWCASE PROGRAM – BOY’S AND GIRL’S

PROGRAM FEATURES:

July 27 – 31, 2020

Players born ’03, ’04, ’05, ’06 – 2 teams

20 hours on-ice Monday to Friday

• program runs 8:00am to 4:00pm daily
• players will be notified of their acceptance
• 2 teams of 15 skaters and 2 goalies
• OHL, Canadian University & US College information seminars
• Special instructors to include Major Jr. A coaches, Junior & Pro players, scouts and U.S. College players

4 hours on-ice daily

• Pro-like drills each morning stressing CHE power skating program and resistance cord training
• Shooting and passing early afternoon
• Team play focusing on transition, cycling the puck, defencemen jumping in, reading plays, power play and penalty killing, learn 5 forechecks, D-D pass, reverses, skills competition
• 1 hour tournament game late afternoon

Off-Ice Activities

• 1 hour of off-ice training including:
  • NEW patented CHE off-ice shooting enhancer
  • K-Vision Lights (for advanced peripheral vision)
  • sliders for skating
• 1 hour daily recreation including soccer, ball hockey, lacrosse, basketball and baseball
• daily lecture/video
• daily lunch and offical hockey camp jersey included
• groups will be limited to 34 skaters and 4 goalies
• goalie instruction – coach/goalie ratio 1:4
• 5 instructors on-ice

2020 Cost: $445.00 CDN funds plus H.S.T (13%)

Canadian Hockey Enterprises Junior/College/AAA and Elite programs have been very successful in developing players for a higher level. It is our Professional Staff with Pro and Junior experience as players, coaches and scouts that makes the difference!

28 Graduates of our programs have been drafted into the OHL in the past 3 years, plus many more have graduated to College and Junior A/B clubs.

Plyometrics and off-ice program will be mailed June 1. Plyometrics are activities designed to develop power.
They include a variety of footwork drills and special exercises which enhance a hockey player’s ability to move quickly and explosively. Agility and balance are also improved.
