Jalbert Skating Rink

The Jalbert Park Skating Rink will open for outdoor ice sports on Tuesday, December 26th, weather permitting.

We are part of Fort Kent Recreation and Parks.

Public Skating Schedule: Fridays from 6-9pm, Saturdays and Sundays 1-4pm and 6-9pm.

Additional hours on no school days (workshops) and vacation weeks: public skating will be held Monday – Fridays 1-4pm.

Limited Hours are available for Ice Time special events and private gatherings. Contact the Recreation Office at 834-3730 for reservations.

The general public is asked to keep in mind that we do the best that we can to keep the rink open. At times, after a severe storm, it takes much time to clean the ice and get ready for public use. Also, when it is warmer out, or begins to drizzle, the conditions are no only unsafe but could actually ruin the ice. When the temperatures are below 20 below zero, we will be closed.
