Chelsea Piers – Youth Skating

The Basic Skills program teaches the fundamentals of skating and provides the foundation for figure skating, hockey and speed skating. Basic 1 – 2 are introductory levels to the sport for children with little or no prior skating experience. Basic 3 – 6 prepare skaters to advance in the discipline they choose. Each level requires mastery of the previous and skaters are encouraged to advance at their own rate.

All 50-minute lessons include a 25-minute lesson and a 25-minute practice.
